Who we are
Crypto Affiliate (crypto-affiliate.com) is an independent directory of crypto affiliate programs. You can reach us about privacy at contact@crypto-affiliate.com.
A static website with no accounts
The site is made of pre-built pages. There is no user account system, no login, no comment section and no newsletter sign-up. We don’t ask you to enter personal data anywhere on the site. The site search runs in your browser against a file served from our own domain; your search terms are not sent to us or to a third party.
Server logs
Like any website, our pages are delivered by a hosting provider. When your browser requests a page, the hosting infrastructure may automatically record technical information in server logs, such as:
- your IP address,
- the date and time of the request,
- the page or file requested,
- your browser and operating system (the user agent),
- the referring page, if your browser sends it.
These logs are used to deliver the site, keep it secure, diagnose errors and protect against abuse. They are kept by the hosting provider under its own retention policy, and we don’t use them to build profiles of individual visitors.
Cookies and local storage
The site does not set cookies of its own, and we use no advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may use strictly technical mechanisms needed to deliver pages securely; those are governed by the provider’s policies.
Analytics
We don’t currently run any analytics service on this site. We may add privacy-friendly analytics in the future to understand which pages are useful. If we do, we’ll update this page before or when it goes live, describing the tool, the data it collects and any cookies it uses.
Third-party embeds
The site does not embed third-party content such as videos, social media widgets, ad scripts or external comment systems. Fonts and images are served from our own domain.
External links
Our pages link to external websites, including brands’ affiliate pages, terms and help centers. Some outbound links may carry referral or tracking parameters set by those sites. Once you leave Crypto Affiliate, the other site’s privacy policy and cookie practices apply, and we have no control over them. Please read their policies before you sign up or share personal data.
If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use this only to reply and to act on your message, for example to verify a correction. We don’t sell it, share it for marketing or add you to a mailing list. We keep correspondence only as long as it is useful for that purpose, and you can ask us to delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to how it is used. Because the site collects so little, in practice this mostly concerns emails you have sent us. Write to contact@crypto-affiliate.com and we’ll respond to your request.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update this page whenever the way the site handles data changes, for example if analytics are added. See also our terms of use and contact page.
