Program terms at a glance
- Commission
- Up to 70% combined referral and sub-affiliate commission on Spot and Futures. Two levels: Level 1 (default) and Level 2. Level 2 requires either 5 new referred users who complete a valid first trade (≥5 USDT in fees) AND holding ≥2,000 MX, OR holding ≥20,000 MX; evaluated in two cycles per month (1st–15th, 16th–end), otherwise the rate reverts to Level 1. Exact per-level percentages are shown only in the portal's Commission Rates module; the Affiliate Portal guide says the rate 'will default to 50%' if upgrade requirements are not met. An additional 10% is paid on fees of users brought in by your sub-affiliates. Commission is on net fees; API trades, fees paid with futures bonuses and prohibited/abnormal trading are excluded.

What “up to 70%” really means in the MEXC affiliate program
MEXC’s headline number is a ceiling, not a starting rate. The help center says you can “earn up to 70% in referral and sub-affiliate commissions” — the important words being and sub-affiliate. The 70% combines what you earn on your own referrals with the extra 10% MEXC pays on users brought in by your sub-affiliatesSub-affiliate An affiliate you recruit into a program. You earn an extra commission on what they bring in, on top of your own direct referrals. More.
What you can rely on: MEXC’s affiliate portal guide says your rate “will default to 50%” when you don’t meet the upgrade requirements. So a working assumption for a new MEXC affiliate is a 50% revshare on referred users’ spot and futuresFutures Contracts that let traders bet on a coin's price, often with leverage, without owning the coin. They create high volume and high risk. More fees, paid for the lifetime of the account. Everything above that depends on your level and your sub-affiliate network.
Press coverage of a MEXC "new year affiliate policy" claimed qualified KOLs can now earn over 70%. We found no official breakdown of that tier on MEXC's own pages, and MEXC does not publish a standalone affiliate terms document. The company also reserves the right to change or cancel commission rules without prior notice. Screenshot your rate from the portal's Commission Rate Details when you start.
MEXC affiliate commission levels and the MX token requirement
MEXC uses two levels. Level 1 is the default. Level 2 has two routes, and both involve MX, MEXC’s own exchange token:
- Route A: bring in 5 new referred users who each complete a valid first trade (generating at least 5 USDT in fees) and hold at least 2,000 MX.
- Route B: hold at least 20,000 MX — no referrals required.
Levels are evaluated twice a month, for the 1st–15th and the 16th to month-end. If you miss the requirements in a cycle, your rate reverts to Level 1 for the next period. MX holdings are snapshotted at the end of each evaluation period, so moving tokens out mid-cycle can cost you the upgrade.
Route B is unusual. It means a well-funded affiliate can buy their way into Level 2 without referring anyone. For most creators, Route A is the realistic path — and the MX holding is a real cost with price exposure, not a free toggle. Run the math: if your monthly commission increase from Level 2 doesn’t clearly outweigh the risk of holding 2,000 MX, stay on Level 1.
What doesn’t earn commission
Commission is calculated on net fees. MEXC excludes feesTrading fees What an exchange charges per trade, usually a small percentage of the trade size. Most exchange affiliate commissions are a share of these fees. More from API trades, fees paid with futures bonuses, and any prohibited or abnormal trading. If you plan to bring in algorithmic traders or bot users, expect zero on their API volume — a point most MEXC affiliate reviews leave out.
MEXC affiliate vs referral program
MEXC runs two programs side by side, and the difference is bigger than the rate.
| Referral program | Affiliate program | |
|---|---|---|
| Who can join | Any MEXC user | Creators with 500+ followers, crypto sites, agencies |
| Rate | 40% of net spot and futures fees | Up to 70% incl. sub-affiliates; defaults to 50% |
| Duration | 1,080 days from the friend's signup | Lifetime of the referred account |
| Paid in | The token the friend paid fees in | Settled to your affiliate account |
| Extras | None | 10% on sub-affiliates' referrals, up to 20% sharing with referees |
If you already have referrals under the regular program, applying for affiliate status is the obvious move once you meet the 500-follower bar. For more on how two-tier structures pay out over time, see our sub-affiliate programs guide.
How to activate the MEXC affiliate program
Unlike most exchanges, MEXC hides the application inside the product rather than on a landing page.
- Register and log in to MEXC. The exchange does not serve the US, Canada, Mainland China, Singapore, Indonesia, Venezuela and several sanctioned regions, so check where your audience lives first.
- Find the application. On the web: Futures > Futures Overview > scroll to Affiliate > Apply Now > Activate Affiliate Status. In the app: Referral > MEXC Affiliate Program > Activate Now.
- Submit your channels. Add every social account you run — MEXC says this speeds up review. Content creators need 500+ followers.
- Wait up to 3 business days. Approval comes with access to the affiliate portal and your referral code, links, short links and QR posters.
- Request sub-affiliate links manually. Linking a sub-affiliate to your account needs a request through Customer Service or the Ticket Center, and both accounts must be active affiliates.
MEXC affiliate login and dashboard tour
“MEXC affiliate login” is one of the most searched variants of this program, and the answer is simpler than the search results suggest. You use your regular MEXC credentials. MEXC’s help center points to the portal at affiliates.mexc.com.
Search results for "MEXC login" are crowded with third-party pages dressed up as official login guides. Never sign in through a link from one of them. Bookmark the portal from MEXC's own help center and enable two-factor authentication — your affiliate balance sits on the same account.
Once inside, these are the modules that matter:
- Affiliate Asset Overview — your commission balance and a one-click transfer to your linked spot account.
- Commission Rate Details — your current referral and sub-affiliate rates, with a history of changes.
- Data Tracking & Trends — referrals, volume and commissions for the past 7 days by default; for custom ranges and exports, go to My Performance > Referrals.
- Commission List — spot and futures commissions with Pending or Distributed status.
- Promotional Tools — lets you push MEXC events to matched referees via in-site messages, app notifications and email.
- Referral Leaderboard — ranks your referees by commission contribution, volume and deposits.
Dashboard metrics update in real time, futures data every 10 minutes, the leaderboard daily at 04:00 UTC and the valid first-trade user count daily at 16:10 UTC. What you won’t find: sub-IDsSubID An extra label you add to your affiliate link to record where a click came from — a page, banner, ad or Telegram post. More or postbackPostback A server-to-server message the program sends to your tracker when a conversion happens, so you see sign-ups and deposits as they occur. More tracking. Paid-traffic affiliates should read our tracking and postback guide before scaling.
Getting paid by MEXC
The previous day’s commissions settle and distribute daily at 00:00 UTC. They sit in your affiliate account until you move them to your spot account — which you can do at any time. Transfers show up under Wallets > Funding History > Affiliate Asset Transfer History on the main site.
MEXC publishes no minimum payoutMinimum payout The smallest balance you must earn before the program pays you. Earnings below it usually roll over to the next period. More and no fixed payout currency for affiliates. Under the regular referral program, rebates arrive in whatever token the referee used to pay fees (MX included), so expect a mixed balance if your referrals use MX fee discounts.
Traffic rules and what MEXC expects from you
MEXC bans phishing, hijacking official MEXC traffic, mimicking MEXC websites, misleading search-engine ads, self-referral and abnormal trading by referred users. “Misleading search-engine ads” is vaguer than an outright brand biddingBrand bidding Buying search ads on a brand's own name, such as 'Bitget login'. Most crypto programs ban it and can void your commissions. More ban, so treat any ad on MEXC brand terms as off-limits unless your manager confirms otherwise in writing.
There is also an obligation most programs don’t have: MEXC expects affiliates to promote its events at least twice per month. That suits active Telegram channels and X accounts; it is awkward for evergreen SEO sites that update a review twice a year. Our crypto affiliate compliance guide covers disclosures and geo-blocking for exchanges with long restricted-country lists like this one.
Who the MEXC affiliate program suits
With daily settlement, a sub-affiliate layer and an expectation of regular event promotion, the program works best for:
- Telegram and Discord communities focused on new listings and altcoin futures.
- Creators who post daily and can meet the twice-monthly event promotion expectation without effort.
- Affiliates building a network of smaller creators, who benefit from the 10% sub-affiliate layer.
It is a weaker fit for US- or Canada-facing sites, for affiliates who want a written contract with fixed rates, and for anyone unwilling to hold MX to reach Level 2.
Using commission sharing to convert more referrals
MEXC lets you hand back up to 20% of your commission to referees as fee cashback, set separately for spot and futures. That is a conversion lever: “sign up with my link and get part of your fees back” beats a bare referral link in most crypto audiences.
Share more on futures than on spot. Futures traders generate most of the fees and compare cashback offers closely, while spot buyers rarely notice a few basis points. Start at 10% on futures, watch your Data Tracking numbers for two weeks, then adjust.
Pair the cashback with MEXC’s own campaigns — trading competitions and the monthly Kickstarter airdrop bonuses for eligible affiliates give you fresh reasons to post, which also covers the event-promotion expectation.
Alternatives to the MEXC affiliate program
- Bitget’s affiliate program has clearer published tiers (40%, 45%, 50%) but starts you at 0% until you drive 10,000 USDT of invitee volume.
- BingX pays up to 50% and a spread on downstream partners, with daily payouts.
- WEEX and Bitunix target the same futures-heavy, non-US audience.

Verdict
The MEXC affiliate program pays a lifetime share of fees from day one, settles daily and adds a genuine sub-affiliate layer — strong economics for active altcoin communities. The trade-offs are transparency and commitment: rates live only inside the portal, there is no public affiliate agreement, Level 2 requires holding MX, and MEXC expects regular event promotion. Go in with screenshots of your terms and a clear view of your audience’s geography.

Frequently asked questions
How much can you earn with the MEXC affiliate program?
MEXC advertises up to 70% in combined referral and sub-affiliate commissions on spot and futures fees, for the lifetime of each referred account. Its portal guide says your rate defaults to 50% if you don't meet upgrade requirements, and sub-affiliates' referrals add 10%. Exact per-level percentages are shown only inside the affiliate portal.
How do I log in to the MEXC affiliate dashboard?
Use your normal MEXC account. After activation, the affiliate portal is linked from MEXC's help center at affiliates.mexc.com, and on the main site you reach the program through Futures > Futures Overview > Affiliate. In the app it sits under Referral > MEXC Affiliate Program. Type the domain yourself — many third-party 'MEXC login' pages in search results are not run by MEXC.
Do I need to hold MX tokens to be a MEXC affiliate?
Not to join. You only need MX for Level 2: either 5 new valid first-trade referrals plus 2,000 MX, or 20,000 MX on its own. Holding tokens carries price risk, so treat it as a cost of the upgrade, not an investment.
What is the difference between MEXC's referral and affiliate programs?
Any user can join the referral program and earn 40% of referees' net spot and futures fees for 1,080 days, paid in the token the friend used for fees. The affiliate program requires activation and review, pays a higher lifetime rate, adds 10% on sub-affiliates' referrals and lets you share up to 20% with referees. Our crypto referral programs page compares this split across exchanges.
How long does MEXC affiliate approval take?
Up to 3 business days. Adding your social media accounts to the application speeds up the review. Content creators need at least 500 followers; crypto websites and promotional agencies can also apply.
